Its been a while people. Mainly because well there isn't a lot flying around at the minute. But UKF (as always) have provided me with some dirty drum n bass to get all of you ravers going.
Now in a previous post a few back you may have remembered that I mentioned a track by Fred V and Grafix? Well they're back with a new release that once again I really enjoy. But first I have an old school track for you 1st gen Drum n Bass and Jungle lovers. This track will certainly take you back with the sirens and and unorthadox nature. Think Machete by DJ Hazard and you won't be far wrong. This is Aeph - Highway Thirteen and it is a very original track in style and rhythm, brings back some good and "fuzzy", shall we say, memories.
Now onto Fred V and Grafix and they're back with a remix of a track by Rudimental. the track is called "Feel the Love" yes I know it sounds like a dodgy pop song but just trust me. I wouldn't call it a summer track really cause the overall feel of the song isn't exactly upbeat but its certainly a track to get you going. It went straight onto my running play list. I'm bobbing back and fourth in my chair right now listening to it.
OK for you gritty dubstep lovers this is a track for you, first played by Skream and Benga the other night so you might struggle to find it but it called "Invite the Future" by Northern Lights, the drop is deep, heavy and dark. Black Sun Empire springs to mind, if you can find it well worth a listen. Overall its a solid track from a very underrated outfit.
That's your dose of bass for now. Till next time...Get Down!!!
